The FHNW Institute of Microelectronics is the center of excellence for microelectronics using FPGAs and ASICs, embedded systems, communication technologies and signal and image processing.
The Institute of Microelectronics was dissolved in summer 2018.
The competences are still with the FHNW and are now with the Institute for Sensor Technology and Electronics.
