Institute of Microelectronics

The FHNW Institute of Microelectronics is the center of excellence for microelectronics using FPGAs and ASICs, embedded systems, communication technologies and signal and image processing.

The competencies of the FHNW Institute of Microelectronics are used in all applications: From medical technologies through industrial electronics to avionics.

We support our customers in doing execution of research, development and consulting projects all the way to series-production readiness according to industry criteria. We care about the whole project cycle from system analysis and feasibility studies through specification, modeling, development and verification to realization. Upon agreement with the industry partners we publish the results in national and international journals.
