Supervised theses

  • Demian Bolinger/Yves Käser (2013). Process analysis in the FBU (support) division and examination of a possible implementation of PIA in Navision. The support division of Sehbehindertenhilfe Basel (support services for the visually impaired) so far lacked a complete documentation of its processes. This thesis collects, analyses and optimises the existing processes. Bachelor thesis.
  • Daniele Marchesin (2013). HACCP: Building an HACCP concept for XY AG (company name altered). The focus of this thesis is the development of a so-called HACCP study, or an HACCP concept (practical case). The aim of the study is a risk analysis in the food industry. The basis of the study is thorough literature research in the field of quality management. Bachelor thesis.
  • Sheila Müller (2012). Finding time-eaters in the credit processing for private customers at the Neue Aargauer Bank AG. A detailed process analysis of the credit processing at the Neue Aargauer Bank AG to increase process efficiency. Thanks to the help of all of the bank’s staff, persisting time-eaters could be found and steps proposed to optimise processes. Bachelor thesis. Human resources and administration.
  • Carmen Olivia Voney (2012). Development of a practice-oriented internal quality management system. Development of a practice-oriented internal quality management system for Fäs Installationen AG, Schöftland. Bachelor thesis.
  • Elvira Rahmani (2012). Service management and IKS. Recording services is a central issue for hospitals and of decisive importance for their profit and cost situation. Because of this, a stable internal control system is necessary to increase and assure the quality of service recording. Bachelor thesis. Human resources and administration.
  • Yvonne Gredig (2013). Profitability in the development of e-commerce platforms: Analysis and recommendations for optimisation for fixed-price projects. There is a lot of competition in the e-commerce services market. IMIS AG develops its own B2B and B2C shops as well as PIM systems in Switzerland and is looking for ways to increase the profitability of customer projects in order to be prepared for future challenges in the market. Bachelor thesis.
