Course description

This module introduces students to the foundations of international business, with a strong emphasis on how effective communication supports success in global markets.

Collaborative part

  • Assignments for international/intercultural pairs (E-tandems) (synchronous/asynchronous)
  • Assignments for Global virtual teams (GVTs) (synchronous/asynchronous)
  • Working with collaborative tool/s such as Padlet, whiteboard, Miro, jam board etc. as an asynchronous extension of the international virtual classroom
  • Kick-off takes place outside of lessons
 

Conditions FHNW-students

  • Cross-country interaction requires time flexibility
  • Lessons outside the usual schedule
  • Kick-off out of lecture time
 

Good to know

Students from FHNW and BFSU will work on a case provided by BFSU.
