Be where the decisions are made.
Business information technology specialists are equally familiar with business and IT. Their job is to analyse business requirements, model and design solutions, and communicate skillfully with people in different roles and professions. Thus, they deliver the innovation that helps organisations succeed in the age of digitalisation!
As a business information technology specialist you will find broad opportunities for varied roles in IT services and consulting or in the IT departments of companies and public administrations. In your job you have to consider the needs of users while being aware of the technical, organisational and financial resources available. To find the best possible solution you will liaise with internal and external partners and use appropriate models to describe your findings.
Your studies will equip you with the ability to systematically analyse big data within an organisation and actively shape business processes. You can work in a consulting role to develop new e-business services and prepare the successful launch of new products. As you gain experience you will develop leadership skills, effectively driving the digital aspects of a corporate strategy.
