Professional skills

In the MSE in Mechanical Engineering, you will develop the specialist skills necessary for designing, developing and producing components and systems. You will also gain knowledge of the necessary materials and means of production. The focus is on mechanical and mechatronic systems, including control and automation. In addition, you will acquire in-depth skills in simulation, analysis, optimisation and verification. You will be able to tackle complex problems with your strong methodological skills.

Outline of profession

Mechanical Engineering encompasses all activities related to the development, production, use and optimisation of machinery, materials, equipment and products in industrial, research and regulatory environments. With the MSE in Mechanical Engineering, you will be in demand for senior positions with management responsibility in the areas of research and development or production.

You will be able to work in production and engineering offices or in the public sector. Your role is essential to ensure the success of projects and companies while taking ecological, economic and social considerations into account.
