Research Seminar: Lecture by Prof. Dr. Francesca Paradisi, FHNW School of Life Sciences

Biocatalysis has seen major developments in the last decades: novel chemistries that surprised even our own community, as well as the ability to gain structural information simply by inputting the protein sequence. One core research area of the Paradisi group is enzyme discovery, and lately ‘re-descovery’. We look at old enzymes with fresh eyes and in some cases over half a century of addidional information. I will discuss recent discoveries in my team and their process applications.
