The Department of Forensic Genetics combines accredited casework with innovative research. The presentation provides insights into the work of forensic genetics and highlights selected research projects aimed at supporting forensic investigations and advancing scientific knowledge, such as the DNA-Buster, DEPArray-based single-cell analysis and novel probabilistic approaches.
