Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry for substance analysis
Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) is a specialized analytical technique used to separate, identify, and quantify substances in known or unknown mixtures, for applications in pharma, environment, food and health.
We offer LC-MS services to large companies, start-ups, universities and other partners. Collaborative projects are always tailored to the specific problem at hand. Our work covers the entire specturm, from sample preparation and development to method validation (if requested by the customer), analysis and evaluation.
Substance classes
We analyse non-polar to polar substances using both atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation (APCI) and electrospray ionisation (ESI) sources. Small to large analytes with a wide variety of chemical properties can be determined.
- Natural substances from plant extracts and other media
- Metabolites in body fluids
- Pharmaceuticals
- Contaminants, residues
- Vitamins
- Additives from the cosmetics and food industries
Equipment
Our suite of liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) systems allow our partners and clients to determine mass, characterise molecular structure, perform lipidomics, and quantify analytes in complex matrices.
