Activities

Overview

Bringing together practitioners, academics and policymakers in the international entrepreneurship and innovation space, we seek to create synergies between activities spanning research and development, (higher) education as well as start-up and innovation support across Asia.

To capture first-hand local insights and access relevant networks, we have installed an International Advisory Board of dedicated guest professors in selected countries who actively contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives and who represent our interests locally.

We pursue our activities in close collaboration with key stakeholders in Asia to ensure integrated value and impact. Beyond trusted partner universities in the region, strong partnerships are fostered with public and private sector organisations as well as other essential players in local business ecosystems. This does not only provide relevant thematic insights but also relevant cross-cultural understanding.

Thematic focus

Research focus

We closely work with the Institute of Management’s Centre of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Centre of Sustainable Business and Circular Economy to engage in relevant research that accounts for key trends.

As part of Swiss Innovation Challenge we cooperate with our guest professors at selected partner universities to deliver Swiss Innovation Challenge ASIA to an international audience. Our long track-record of working with hundreds of innovative start-ups across Asia provides us with highly relevant data to conduct research with.

In line with the research activities at the Centre of Sustainable Business and Circular Economy, we play an active role in the academic community. Our team members and guest professors act as Editors as well as Editorial Board Members of Springer Nature Book Series.

Offers

Services

We offer tailor-made services for public and private actors in the Swiss-Asian entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, including

  • Corporate engagement in the start-up ecosystem
