Keep Swissport at the forefront of innovation through people-centered RL solutions.
In collaboration with Swissport, an international provider of airport ground services, our team has begun developing AI and ML systems that monitor operations, simulate future events, and provide recommendations for optimization and disruption mitigation.
As the aviation industry is inherently highly volatile, Swissport's operations are subject to a variety of external variables that can have a significant negative impact, including delays and customer dissatisfaction. These uncontrollable events are also difficult for human dispatchers to predict, which makes it difficult to choose an appropriate course of action.
The planned solution reduces the mental load on human dispatchers by serving as an easily accessible monitoring system that provides not only real-time metrics but also forecasts and development trajectories for different time horizons. An AI system trained by observing human dispatchers provides recommendations for action that can be accepted, rejected, or adjusted by the human operator. This creates an online learning environment for the agent and, at the same time, supports human decision-making.
