Making chemical processes more environmentally friendly
The Sustainable chemistry group deals with a wide range of research issues and carries out projects in various subject areas. These include the use of advanced oxidation processes (AOP) in water and wastewater treatment, the removal of perpetual chemicals (PFAS) using special adsorption technology and the microbial degradation of these compounds. We act as an integrative interface to the research groups of the Institute for Ecopreneurship and across the FHNW.
