Music and Movement
Music and movement as forms of expression are creative and varied. Students studying music and movement can develop and hone their own musical and dance skills in different styles. Music and dance make it possible for a wide variety of people to come together and create space for communication. The programme prepares you to work in various fields of music and movement education. Please note: German Level C1 is required, the teaching language is German. This master’s degree programme focuses on further artistic development – musically, in terms of dance, performance and education. Professional career
Katrin Rohlfs, Absolventin des Orff-Instituts in Salzburg, war 25 Jahre als Pädagogin für Musik und Bewegung / Rhythmik in der Ausbildung für Erzieherinnen und Erzieher tätig. Als Co-Leiterin hat sie ab 2009 die ev. Fachakademie für Sozialpädagogik in München mit aufgebaut. Mit zahlreichen Projekten aus der Musik- und Bewegungspädagogik gab sie der Fachakademie eine deutlich musische Prägung. Sie war ausserdem Lehrbeauftragte an der Hochschule in Regensburg im Studiengang Musik- und bewegungsorientierte Soziale Arbeit. Freiberuflich wirkte sie in der Fort- und Weiterbildung von Erzieher:innen und Lehrer:innen und in der Arbeit mit Kindern und Jugendlichen. Künstlerisch tritt sie als „Clown Pollina“ auf.
