Pierre Bertrand

Pierre Bertrand

Lecturer for Composition

The composer, arranger and saxophonist Pierre Bertrand (*1972) is a highly experienced teacher in the fields of arranging, composition, orchestration, big band and large ensemble.
He has been teaching analysis of 20th century music and orchestration in the jazz master's programme at the CNSMDP in Paris since 2014 and arrangement, composition and big band at the CRR Conservatoire in Paris since 2019.

Pierre Bertrand is involved in several educational youth projects, such as the European Jazz Companions Orchestra, and was artistic director, arranger and conductor of the Nice Jazz Orchestra.
