Sustainable chemistry

Sustainable chemistry

Sustainable chemistry aims to make chemical processes more environmentally friendly.

At the Institute for Ecopreneurship, the SusChem group deals with a wide range of research issues and carries out projects in various subject areas. These include the use of Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP) in (waste) water treatment, the removal of PFAS (‘perpetual chemicals’) using special adsorption technology and the microbial degradation of these compounds. It thus forms an integrative interface to the respective working groups of the institute and also within the university.
