Short biography
Melinda Maul completed her clarinet studies at the Basel Academy of Music (diploma in music education, concert diploma and soloist diploma) in 2011 and continued her education with a degree in music management at the Bern University of the Arts in 2020.
She was active as a soloist until 2013 and performed with the Sinfonieorchester Basel, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Camerata Zurich and Budapest Symphony Orchestra, among others.
Melinda Maul has been a lecturer in clarinet didactics at the Basel Academy of Music since 2013. She has many years of experience as a clarinet teacher, brass band conductor and music school director.
