Schwindelerregend
Die Madrigale von Michelangelo Rossi erscheinen durch ihren fünfstimmigen Satz mit zwei Tenor- statt zwei Sopranstimmen für Musik aus dieser Zeit recht konservativ. Doch wirken sie mit der selbst für heutige Ohren schwindelerregenden Harmonik voller gewagter Modulationen und Chromatik verblüffend avantgardistisch. Auch die Verwendung eines Arciorganos als Begleitinstrument, das statt der üblichen zwölf Tonhöhen 36 pro Oktave hat, ist ein weiterer wichtiger Aspekt dieser Produktion. Johannes Keller und das exzellente Ensemble Domus Artis, das eigens für das Studium und die Interpretation von Madrigalen gegründet wurde, stellen diese außergewöhnliche Musik hier vor.
