Environmental and water technologies

In environmental and water technologies, we deal with the processes involved in water treatment, wastewater treatment and recycling valuable substances.

The research group develops innovative technical environmental processes for reducing emissions and removing harmful substances from water, wastewater and waste as well as for closing the lifecycles of materials. After the processes have been tested in the lab, the user often puts them into practice on a pilot basis.

Our research topics

  • Further water and wastewater treatment
  • Membrane processes
  • Recycling resources
  • Adapted and near-natural processes
