Intermediate/upper-intermediate course

To develop general English ability, with emphasis on communicative skills.

The course is based on the book "The Nelson First Certificate" and follows a grammatical/lexical syllabus. Emphasis is placed on the speaking skill, but complementary skills such as reading and listening are also developed, as, to a lesser extent, is writing. This course can be considered a lead-in to students wishing to study for the FCE at a later date, but also aims to improve general language skills for those without such aspirations.
