Bachelor-Thesis

The bachelor thesis students use all their knowledge and skills previously obtained during their studies. It contains an open research question in the field of Data Sci-ence and is completed by an individual.

The work usually involves:

• Specification of the research question, an analysis and specification of the project objectives and tasks.
• Analysis of the problem together with relevant stakeholders
• Conceptual or theoretical problem-solving approach.
• Implementation of a solution.
• Reflection on the results.
• Composition of a well-designed report with to document the analysis, the procedures applied to create the solution and a critical discussion of the results created during the project.
• Presentation that contains the most important points of the problem, the problem-solving approach, the solution, a demonstration of the results as well as a critical discussion. The presentation is the defense of the project with domain experts, data scientists and various stakeholders.
