The “Sewing.Island” is equipped with industrial sewing machines and a space for cutting, and offers professional support for students working on their own textile and other sewing projects.
The small studio located on the gallery of the wood workshop is suitable for a wide range of sewing projects: from making a suit to producing a tent, almost anything goes.
The “Sewing.Island” is equipped with three professional rapid sewing machines, an overlock machine, and a steam ironing station. High tables equipped with cutting mats provide the necessary space for carrying out sectional drawings and cutting. A basic set of sewing tools as well as material for test pieces and sewing tests are available. The material for the projects is procured by the students themselves, for support as well as for questions concerning processing, the studio manager always has a ready ear.
