In the spring of 2018 we launched a new series of seminars, workshops, public lectures, and symposia focussing on the theme of oceans. The series reflected the growing interest in the research and experience of oceans and how artists explore nature and inquire into the scientific disciplines concerned with the natural world.
The Project Art is Ocean also initiated our cooperation with the TBA21-Academy, a foundation whose purpose it is to provide artists and scholars the opportunity to develop new ways of thinking about the ocean as well as opening up new spaces in education and art to address the vital questions regarding the future of life as a whole.
