As part of the current Lecture Series organised by the Institute for Digital Communication Environments (IDCE) at HGK Basel, entitled ‘Return’, seven speakers will share insights into their professional careers since graduating from the IDCE at HGK Basel.
The current lecture series organised by the Institute Digital Communication Environments (IDCE) at HGK Basel is entitled ‘Return’ and will take place at HGK Basel from 9 March to 10 June 2026.
For this series, the IDCE has invited seven graduates of its Bachelor’s programme in Visual Communication and Digital Spaces, its Master’s programme in Digital Communication Environments, and the International Master of Design in Graphic Design – run in collaboration with the University of Chicago (UIC) – to return to HGK Basel.
The speakers, who work internationally in various fields – ranging from professional practice and research to academia and curatorial work – will offer insights into their career paths and experiences since graduating from HGK Basel. The lecture series is organised by Dr Kambiz Shafei, lecturer in photography at the IDCE at HGK Basel.
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
All lectures are open to the public and will take place at 5.15 pm in the auditorium or seminar room on the same floor in Building D (high-rise building) of the HGK Basel. Admission is free.
