The Institute Digital Communication Environments offers businesses and public institutions a promising service package at usual market rates for the design of their media in analogue as well as digital communication channels. The assignments are conceptualized, designed and implemented either by a team specially selected for the purpose or by advanced BA and MA students in a respective project course. For the clients, the collaboration with students and lecturers promises a wide range of innovative, surprising and contemporary design proposals, while we, as an applied university, get the chance to link up our teaching activities with real-life social, economic, and cultural practices. ANDICO LAB has up to now realized projects for the Presidential Department of Canton Basel-Stadt, the Stapferhaus Lenzburg, Messe Schweiz AG, Bell AG, Hoffmann La Roche AG, among others, and designs communication products on behalf of the various schools of the FHNW Applied University.
