The FHNW: strengthening its international commitment

The FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland is launching two new initiatives with the aim of enhancing the university’s international profile.

In his newly created role as Head of International Relations, Prof. Robert Buttery will work with the International Offices of the FHNW’s schools to communicate and foster the FHNW’s international orientation in international committees and at international fairs. He will continue as Head of International Relations at the FHNW School of Business. He will be creating additional synergies in his part-time role (20%) as Head of International Relations.

Focus on Latin America

The launch of the FHNW Latin American Centre shines a spotlight on the Latin American region. Heading the FHNW Latin American Centre is Paloma Baumann Carmona; it’s located in Brugg-Windisch (Room 5.4A13). She, too, will continue in her role at the FHNW School of Business and work part-time (20%) for the FHNW Latin American Centre.
