The strategic action fields of the FHNW,

The strategic action fields are defined in the FHNW strategy. By concentrating its forces in the fields New Work, Future Health and Zero Emission, the FHNW aims to provide answers to the most urgent issues of society and economy.

In the three strategic action fields New Work, Zero Emission and Future Health, the FHNW will bundle, expand and give greater visibility to its multidisciplinary competences in the socially relevant topics of work, health and environment/sustainability, thus distinguish itself as an institution, act as an innovative driving force for solutions to current problem areas in the economy and society and position itself as an attractive employer.

The FHNW shapes futures – convinced that it takes collective intelligence and multidisciplinary competencies to meet the great challenges of our time. The strategic action fields New Work, Future Health and Zero Emission bring together bright minds, innovative projects and highly relevant problems.

The FHNW concentrates its manifold competencies to promote visionary change in research, education and practice. It aims to create a relevant portfolio which inspires and empowers students, the economy and society to prepare for current and future challenges. Thereby, FHNW distinguishes itself as an attractive partner for business, society and public administration.
