The FHNW welcomes students with disabilities.

Disadvantage compensation

It is possible to study at the FHNW with a disability or impairment. Students with a disability can apply for a disadvantage compensation that aims to eliminate any difficulties resulting from a disability.

The schools of the FHNW regulate the disadvantage compensation in their respective study and examination regulations. If you have any questions regarding adjustment measures to compensate for disability-related disadvantages, please contact the relevant office.

Accessible infrastructure

Currently, FHNW is compiling information on the accessibility of its buildings and will publish it on Ginto. This allows disabled person to plan their studies, work or event visits independently. The information on Ginto will comprise information on entries, pathways, lifts, accessible toilets, parking spaces and other relevant infrastructure.
