Annik Troxler studied Visual Communication, specializing in graphic design, at the ECAL in Lausanne from 2000 till 2004. Since 2006, she has been working as a freelance designer in Basel for clients from the culture sector. She conducts workshops worldwide and has been a lecturer at the FHNW Academy of Art and Design Basel since 2011. Annik Troxler's own posters are often created using screen printing, almost all of them using analogue techniques. They are internationally exhibited and published and have won awards.
In 2018, she won the Grand Prix at the Moscow Biennale of Graphic Design and a Silver Medal at the Ecuador Poster Bienal. In 2008, she won first prize at the International Festival de l'Affiche in Chaumont and, in 2006, the Grand Prix at the International Poster Triennial in Toyama.
Annik Troxler's posters are in the collection of the Zurich Museum für Gestaltung, the poster collection of the Basel School of Design, the Hamburg Museum of Art and Design, and the Cooper Hewitt, New York.
Annik Troxler has been a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2013.
