| Learning objectives | - Business engineers can define a specific business type defining the essential characteristics and recognising the most important microeconomic principles. - Business engineers are able to explain the basic principles of financing a company and to judge its financial state by using the essential metrics from Balance Sheets and Profit and Loss statements as well as from Cash Flow Statements. They are aware of the role of the banks and implement methods of raising capital. - Business engineers are able to design supporting processes in a company. |
