Field of Activity
Claire Reymond is a lecturer at the Institute Digital Communication Environments. She teaches modules such as Empiri-cal Research Methods (MA), Interdisciplinary Collaboration (MA), and Academic Writing (BA and MA). In the Master's programme, she is responsible for co-ordinating the Master's thesis and is an internal expert for the Master's examina-tions. Claire Reymond also conducts research in the field of image production and the reception/evaluation of images in therapeutic and social use.
Biography
Claire Reymond trained as a graphic designer at the Basel School of Design (2000). After several years working at design agencies and as a freelance designer, she studied psychology at the University of Basel (2005-2010) and completed a master's degree in Visual Communication and Iconic Research at the FHNW Academy of Art and Design Basel (2012). She completed her doctorate at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Basel with studies on image reception, in-cluding in the field of empirical aesthetics (2022).
In 2019, Claire Reymond was a visiting researcher at the metaLAB and Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University, USA.
