Ineke Siersema From Real to Virtual – Shaping Sustainable FuturesMA in Art Education, designer, researcher, and specialist in 3D Digital Fashion Design.Former lecturer at AMFI, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, with a background in Textiles, Costume & Fashion, and 2D and 3D digital design. Since 2010, I have been working with 3D technologies, virtual prototyping, and digital workflows in fashion education and professional practice.As an educator and researcher, I connect design, art, research, and technology through education and international projects, including THE NEW REAL at AMFI and UMPRUM.Through European research projects such as TRANSITIONS, I have contributed to making new digital developments accessible to fashion education and practice. As a CLO3D and Adobe specialist, I provide international lectures, training, workshops, and consultancy in the field of digital fashion innovation.

Visual Artist | Fashion Researcher | Digital Design Specialist.
Her research focus is on investigating the convergencies of traditional crafts and digital garment technologies, postcolonial materiality in digital fashion infrastructure and zero-waste methodologies in hybrid (physical-digital) fashion systems. Her practice-led research develops experimental fashion works for audiovisual media. She has specialised in 3D fashion prototyping for over 10 years.
Requirements and admission
The continuing education programs are primarily aimed at individuals with an academic degree from a recognized university and relevant professional experience after graduation.Individuals with equivalent qualifications will be admitted if their eligibility for participation is demonstrated by other evidence.
