Temporary library closure from 3rd to 9th of August 2026
The library’s entrance area will be refurbished in the summer of 2026.
For this reason, the library will be temporarily closed from 3rd to 9th of August 2026. Access to the premises using the FH-Card will also not be available during this period.
The library team will remain available via email and will provide services on request.
Items can be returned during the closure via the book return hatch to the right of the library entrance or at other locations. The courier service will not be available during this period.
From 10th of August 2026, the library will be open again according to special opening hours.

The FHNW Library Olten is a public university library. It offers a broad range of printed and electronic media for the fields of applied psychology, social work, economics and optometry as well as space for learning, working and researching. Its services are aimed at members of FHNW and interested members of the public. Use of the library is free of charge.
