Study advice

For all questions concerning a degree programme or the choice of a degree programme, please contact the study administration of the relevant degree programme.

Disability

Students with disabilities are welcome at FHNW. Please find more information about support and possible options for disadvantage compensation.

Diversity

The FHNW stands for diversity and the inclusion of diversity in its degree programmes. The Diversity office promotes equal opportunities at all levels and organizes events around the topic. It connects the actors at FHNW who are interested in diversity

All ten of the FHNW’s schools have diversity representatives who offer support for all questions around diversity.

Psychological counselling

The psychological counselling centre FHNW is the first point of contact for students at the FHNW. It provides independent, client-oriented counselling. The discussions are free of charge and confidential. The psychologists are bound by professional secrecy. An English-speaking counsel is not guaranteed. If necessary, FHNW students will be directed to specialists for further support options.

At the FHNW Campus Brugg-Windisch, the campus counselling service of the Aargauer Landeskirche also offers free and independent counselling in German for students.

Children and studies

The FHNW is committed to promote familiy-friendly study conditions. Flexibility, targeted support structures and infrastructure support students with care duties. All sites of the FHNW feature family areas as well as lactation rooms. Furthermore, boxes with toys and games for children can be loaned free of charge.

For all questions concerning studies, please contact the administration of the specific degree programme. For all other questions and advice, contact the diversity officers of the FHNW schools.

Career Services

The next Career Services FHNW offer support for questions concerning your career. Next Career Services connects students with businesses and organizes the annual Career Night at FHNW.

The FHNW’s schools offer further options for career and personal development.
