      Instrumental Analytics

Our team works with a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies and corresponding applications in labs kitted out with the latest equipment.

Alongside investigating the methodological aspects of separating technologies, metabolomic and proteomic analyses of biological systems with high-resolution LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS technologies is a major focus of our research. We deal with problems relating to pharmaceutical bioanalytics, environmental analytics and the structural characterisation of natural extracts and complex mixtures of substances. In addition to LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS, we successfully use highly sensitive NMR spectroscopy for structural elucidation and quantification. We have been working successfully with partners from industry, start-ups, public institutions and the university sector on a variety of application-based research projects for many years.
