The FHNW Library Muttenz is a public university library. It offers a broad range of printed and electronic media for the fields of Architecture, Construction & Gemoatics, Life Sciences, Education and Social Work as well as space for learning, working and researching. Its services are aimed at members of FHNW, teachers from the region and interested members of the public. Use of the library is free of charge.

To facilitate navigation around the library we offer the mapongo room information system.

Opening hours

Monday - Friday	8am - 7pm (library staff present till 5pm)
Saturday	9am - 3pm (library staff present till 12pm)

FHNW members have 24/7 access to the library with their FH-Card.

Media selection

The library provides specialised literature in the fields of the local schools (architecture, construction, geomatics, life sciences, education, social work, technology/mechatronics).
It offers specialized literature, journals, teaching materials and reference works as well as daily newspapers, films, media boxes, educational games, picture books and children's and youth literature (fiction and non-fiction).

It is also the location for the FHNW materials collection.

In addition to the physical resources, it offers a large selection of electronic resources as well (e-books, e-journals, scientific journal articles, databases).
