Digital semester apparatus (DigiSem) for lecturers

The digital semester apparatus provides journal articles and excerpts from books in digitalised form for course participants.

With DigiSem, materials for course participants can be used at any time from any workstation with Internet access. Lecturers at FHNW locations Brugg-Windisch, Muttenz, Olten, Solothurn and the Basel School of Music can order extracts from media for their digital semester apparatus.

      Digital semester apparatus with Moodle
As a lecturer, you can order your required extracts directly from your Moodle course room. To do so create a new learning activity in Moodle, then select the "DigiSem" tile and fill in all the relevant fields. The finished scans are then uploaded directly to your Moodle course room.

      Digital semester apparatus without Moodle
If you do not work with Moodle, you can submit your desired extracts using this form below. Fill in all the relevant fields for the order and select your home library. You will receive the scans as PDF files by e-mail within a few days.
All orders are completed without any costs being passed on.

If you have any questions, please contact us via e-mail: digisem@fhnw.ch
