Biography
Invar-Torre Hollaus (born 1973), art historian / 2009 PhD with Prof. Dr Gottfried Boehm at the Institute of Art History at the University of Basel / Since 2010 lecturer in the Theory and History of the Image at the Institute of Digital Communication Environments IDCE at the FHNW Academy of Art and Design Basel in the BA, MA, and MDes programmes / Author of numerous texts and publications in the field of contemporary art, e.g. on Frank Auerbach, Francis Bacon, Joachim Bandau, Reto Bollau, Samuele Gabai, Ehard Havekost, Fabian Treiber, Patrick Rohner, and Robert Zandvliet. Also active in art education, academic research, and as a curator.
