    ACM Digital Library 
    All publications of the ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) with an archive of approx. 50 years (excluding e-books) as well as the “Guide to Computing Literature” with bibliographic information on journals from major computer publishers. 

    IEEE Xplore Digital Library 
    Literature (journals, conference reports, standards) from the beginnings to the present day in electronics, electrical engineering and computer science. Also included: IBM Journal of Research and Development, the NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) and the IEEE Standards Dictionary. 

    Scopus 
    Around 1.4 billion books, articles, conferences and patents on technology, natural sciences, medicine, humanities and social sciences.

    Web of Science 
    Multidisciplinary reference database, contains books, articles and conference papers on economics, technology, natural sciences, art, education, etc. Includes metrics for analyzing journals and articles as well as Journal Citation Reports (JCR).

    HSI collection 
    In swisscovery we provide a collection of computer science textbooks.

    O’Reilly Learning 
    Contains books, audio books, videos, case studies from around 200 publishers on business informatics, information technology and software development. Furthermore you will find media on communication, design and career development. FHNW members can access via SWITCH edu-ID. 

    DOAB 
    The Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) lists over 4,800 scientific e-books from 155 publishers. 

    Internet Archive 
    Internet Archive is a non-profit online library with many freely accessible books, films, software, music, websites and more. 

    LIBRUMopen 
    LIBRUM Publishers & Editors offers Open Access publications on Swiss history, archaeology and arts. 

    SCNAT knowledge 
    This portal provides access toinformation and publications in the field of natural sciences. 

    Swisstopo 
    Swisstopo is an application for searching, displaying and using geographical information. It enables the interactive display of maps and superimposed technical data. 

    vdf Open Access 
    The university press of ETH Zurich offers many Open Access publications.
