OPEN CALL NEXA: NEXT GENERATION SUSTAINABILITY AWARD HGK Basel 2024

Apply for the first NEXA AWARD with your art and design projects and win a studio residency at the Sitterwerk Foundation!

The NEXA AWARD was initiated to make projects by HGK Basel students on the topic of sustainability more visible in a transdisciplinary way and to promote them. We look forward to your submissions! Thesis projects by alumni:ae can also be submitted.

Deadline: February 23, 2024.

Award
On 7 March, 16:30-18:00, during the FHNW Sustainability Week, three selected projects will be honoured by a jury at the CIVIC and each awarded a studio residency in cooperation with the Sitterwerk Foundation.
The studio residency will take place in August 2024 and includes use of the project studio, the materials archive and the art library of the Sitterwerk Foundation as well as a public event there. The exact planning of the studio residency will be discussed with the winners.

The jury is made up of two external experts, four HGK Basel students and one member of the HGK Basel staff:
