BSc in Business Administration (International Management)

Since 01.09.2022 the new regulations entered into force.

The most important changes for studying at FHNW School of Business are:

  •     An entrance examination is now required for most tertiary B degrees.
  •     In the case of a second degree or a change of degree programme, sufficient credits must still be available.

1) Work experience must include a predominantly commercial activity and have taken place after completion of upper secondary education.

2) Baccalaureate certificates obtained outside Switzerland are accepted if granted access to Swiss universities without examination.

3) The “FH Reife” has to be submitted with the application. A mark of 2.5 or higher is required.

4) Accepted, if 32 out of 42 points achieved in final diploma (without bonus points) as well as 6 subjects from the IB group list. At least 3 subjects have to be at Higher Level (one of these being a mathematics or natural science subject).

5) Applicants who have a foreign university entrance qualification but do not fully meet the admission requirements will be admitted to the entrance examination.

In addition, at least 12 months (100%) of commercial work experience must be proven.

You do not need to submit a language certificate for the BSc in Business Administration (International Management). However, for successful studies we recommend that you have already reached the level of at least B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in all language skills before starting your studies.
