Imagine you could obtain an 'impossible' image of any object or phenomenon that you think is important, with no limits on spatial, temporal, energy, signal/noise or cost resolutions. What image would you create? (the answer can be a hypothetical image of course!)

This was the question Rosa Menkman asked every scientist she spoke to during her Arts at CERN/Collide Barcelona residency (2019-2020). As a result of this exploration, Rosa developed a collection of Im/Possible images inside the BLOB, a commission by HEK (Haus der Elektronischen Künste Basel).
During her talk at the Institute Digital Communication Environments (IDCE) , Rosa will introduce us to the collection and some of the thoughts and findings she made while doing her research and creating the BLOB.
